What to expect as an event coordinator?

As an event coordinator, one should expect the unexpected. No two days in this profession are the same. Every day brings new possibilities, new responsibilities, and new experiences. One day you might be talking to vendors and the other day you may be signing a contract for an event.

The profile for this type of work is highly demanding and fast-paced, with never-ending deadlines and functions. Working 24/7 is not enough time to accomplish all the demands of this type work.

For an operations manager, it is a constant struggle to make sure that everything goes as planned. This means having to work hard for days and even weeks in order to make sure that everything is done right. However, nothing would be more rewarding that knowing that the hard work paid off and the event was a hit.

As challenging as this job’s profile may sound, it is one of the highest paying jobs. A specific skill-set is necessary to step into this field and handle the underlying responsibilities with flair. Do not expect a nine-to-five shift if you are into this occupation. In fact, if there is a major event coming up, working hours can begin from early morning to midnight, including weekends.

Through the years Mr. Gus Drakopoulos, the event coordinator for the adult entertainment club “Sin City” has mastered the art of effortlessly handling countless of work commitments, which are necessary for creating a successful event.
